Five teams competed in the 2017-2018 Hydrodynamics FIRST Lego League qualifier.  They each used a unique mechanism that helped them to complete a unique mission. Can you match each team to their mechanism, mission and final score?

  1. The Hydrant Hippos scored higher than the the team that used a Trap Door mechanism which scored higher than the team that completed the Rain Cloud mission.
  2. The team that completed the Fire Truck mission, which didn’t score 100 points, scored 15 points less than the team that completed the Slingshot mission, which scored less than the Flower mission.
  3. The Foggy Bottoms completed the Flower mission.
  4. The team that used a Scissor Lift mechanism, which didn’t complete the Rain Cloud mission, scored 130 points.
  5. The team that used a Rack & Pinion mechanism scored 85 points.
  6. Of the Storm Drains and the team that scored 85 points, one of them used a Reciprocating Linkage mechanism and the other completed the Fire Truck mission.
  7. The 5 teams are the team that scored 70 points, the Water Raptors, the teams that used a Trap Door and Scissor Lift and the team that completed the Manhole Covers mission.
